It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Jerry on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 at the age of 88. He is survived by his beloved wife Lynn Bocchini of 62 years. Cherished father of Mark Bocchini of LaSalle, ON and Paul Bocchini of Toronto, ON. Adored and fun papa of Nicole (Samy) of Lambeth, ON and Mitchell (Paige) of Welland, ON. Brother of Jim (Laura) Bocchini of Florida, and Fred (late Doreen) Bocchini of Windsor,ON. Predeceased by his parents Frances and Orlando Bocchini.

Jerry was employed with Grace Hospital for 38 years. Upon retirement he enjoyed volunteering at The Cancer Centre, The Hospice of Windsor-Essex, The South Windsor Senior Group, and Taylor Public School Breakfast Program. He attended Patterson High school and W.D. Lowe High school, and this is where his love for sports was established. Jerry was a member of the final championship hockey team at Patterson. He coached hockey and baseball, and was an OHL Linesman. Jerry was an active member of The Kiwanis Club of South Windsor, and the B.A.C. of The Church of Ascension. Jerry was an avid fan of The Detroit Red Wings, Lions, and Tigers. In his spare time he loved to play golf, and care for his garden.
