HICKS, Raymond “Ray”

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Ray at the age of 68. He passed peacefully with his immediate family by his side on November 20, 2016 after dictating his terms for the armistice in his battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Albert & Marion (nee Smith) & many aunts, uncles & cousins. He will be sorely missed by his surviving family. Cherished husband of over 33 years to Carla Johnson-Hicks. Beloved father of Jessica, Darryl and wife Melissa. Proud Grandpa of Graham & Angela. Dear nephew of Dorothy (Standish) Hicks. He will be missed by many other family members & friends. Ray was a proud member of WECSSO Slo-Pitch where he played, coached,umpired and was the resident handyman. He enjoyed golfing, building model trains, wood working, & spending time in his garden & yard. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or A Child’s Voice Foundation (Angel Hair for Kids) would be appreciated by the family.
