Peacefully at home with his loving family on April 23, 2016 at 85 years of age. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Douglas) for 57 years. Loving father of Susan, and Dan and wife Ava. Adored Grampa of Erika and Matthew. Predeceased by kid brother Jack (Mary Ann). Dear brother-in-law of Eleanore Stephens (late Joe), Russ Douglas (Elaine), and the late Marguerite and Bill Hazael, Rodger Douglas, Eilleen Kearns and Dick Dufoe. Loving uncle and playmate to many nieces and nephews. Max retired from Ford Canada after 30 years of service. He was an avid athlete with many accomplishments in local baseball and bowling leagues and enjoyed camping, fishing, playing pool and cards, and of course, watching TV.
