Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 8, 2016 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Olga for 57 years. Loving father of Shari Baron and Jim Spiers, Laurie and Rob Fisher and Chris and Tina Stockwell. Proud and loving grandfather of Katie, Trevor, Laura, Ryan, Alicia, Brandon, Chase and Emma. Survived by his dear sister Irene. Predeceased by his siblings Gord, Mary and Glenn. Dear brother-in-law of Jennie. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Don worked at Bell Canada for 38 years and was the recipient of a Bell Innovation Award. He played slow-pitch and volleyball with WECSSO as recently as this past summer.
